Beta of Bump Top Released. Get it now!

I can't wait for the multitouch version of this!

I love all of the strategies for:
1. Managing screen realestate...Stacking files, skewing the content around the edges of the screen.
2. Great tools for managing sorting tasks.
3. Markup Menus

It would be great to see feedback or video from someone with an HP TouchSmart or similar!

Update, Point & do readers Ben and Laurent pointed to demos Anand has already done with multitouch devices. Alright, I know how I will be wasting my weekend :~}

  3. Well I have a touchsmart, so I'm definitely going to try it. But I have to say I'm kinda skeptical on this one. Maybe it's because I'm more of a power user, but I don't often feel the need for the desktop. It seems like ever since indexing became the norm, I don't feel it's hard to find things on my computer.
    It's possible I don't use the desktop today because it's not very user-friendly, but I think it's just as likely that I won't benefit from making the metaphor so literal.

  4. I think it's more suitable for Surface computers. Displays of tablet PCs and notebooks are too small to fully take use of many interesting functions of Bumptop.
