Even if this whiffs of fakery, it's a compelling idea and a great visualization! Add some mark up menus and an appropriate keyboard and people will be tearing these off the shelves.
I swears Apple's its not working on a porting the iphone OS to a tablet or a netbook. Tim Cook told us that a multitouch tablet/netbook experience wouldn't be compelling. He wouldn't lie would he? Naw, never. These are not the droids you're looking for.
